Destinations:
-
Mittry Lake:
A moderate size impoundement on the Colorado River Formed by the
creating
of Laguna Dam. Mittry Lake is isolated from the main river by
a section
of dirt deposited by flood waters.
- The Colorado River:
From Imperial Dam north: This encompasses a number of lakes,
backwaters
and channels to keep an angler exploring and learning for decades.
Martinez, Ferguson, and Squaw Lakes are all part of this
system, but
there are dozens if not hundreds of small lakes included in this river
system
|
Serving:
-
Parents with kids:
Kids accompanied with a parent are great for a half day trip to start.
I
only take children out when accompanied by a responsible parent or
guardian.
- Beginners wanting to learn:
I will help you with every step of the game depending on your level of
skill
and knowledge from basic knot tying and casting practice to picking
baits,
presentations and areas based on the conditions of the day.
- Experienced Anglers:
Maybe you know how to fish, but you would like a little help finding
your
way around or understanding the subtleties of the area.
Whatever your
reasons for wanting to fish the river I'll do my best to help you.
- Anybody who wants to go fishing and can get in and
out of the boat safely.
